Program
Thoughtful Play is a C1 licensed in-home program designed to offer a calm, consistent, and enriching experience for young children in a small group setting. We welcome children from infancy through preschool, with space for up to 10 children, including no more than 2 infants at a time.
Group Size & Ratio
Licensed for up to 10 children, Thoughtful Play provides a nurturing and engaging setting designed to support each child’s growth.
While we follow state licensing guidelines for age groups, our small group setting allows for more flexibility. Infants and toddlers are given the time and space they need to grow at their own pace, without being rushed into the next stage. Tuition is structured to reflect this extended support. Transitions happen gently and are based on each child’s individual readiness, not just their birthdate
Meals & Care Items Provided
At Thoughtful Play, children are served breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack each day. I strive to offer meals that are nourishing, balanced, and kid-friendly, with an emphasis on minimizing added sugars and overly processed foods whenever possible. While many meals are made from scratch using fresh ingredients, convenience items are sometimes included. And of course—we make room for the occasional treat, because joy and balance go hand-in-hand.
Wipes are provided for all children, as well as rice and oatmeal cereal for infants. Parents are asked to supply infant food(purees), premade bottles(breastmilk/formula), diapers and (2) full sets of spare clothes, as well as a blanket & pillow or cot mat for toddler & preschoolers.
